The Cost of Repairs
To repair any particular structure you will need three things:

- Labor, which usually runs about 50 GP for most jobs. These are the people doing the actual work of building, from masons to carpenters to smiths, etc. This also pays for incidentals like tools, nails, and other construction basics.
- Experts, such as Engineers or Architects, whose specialized knowledge and design skills allow for the construction of certain types of structures, particularly large or industrial structures. These people need to be retained separately, and can only be employed on one task at a time. Some jobs Require an expert, while others are simply a Bonus that will add value or utility to the jobs they participate in.
- Resources, such as stone, wood, clay and metal. Bought and transported in 50 GP lots, one must either secure the materials through trade (for other goods), purchase (for cash), or manufacture (which takes cash AND time).

- Various Holy Persons to serve as heads of Churches.

CITY INFRASTRUCTURE

The Docks (300 GP)
Repair Priority: Very High
- In order for the province to generate any revenue through trade, the port must be re-opened.
- If the port remains closed for too long, it will foster significant unrest across the province.

The Sea Wall (300 GP)
Repair Priority: Medium / High
- Protects the east districts from high waves during storms.
- Protects the city from bombardment from the sea. Like, say, from the Wassi.

- Without a gate, the city cannot be secured against enemy forces (or even common criminals).

The Lighthouse (300 GP)
Repair Priority: High
- Required for the operation of the port, especially as the days get shorter.
- Income through trade will be halved until this is repaired.

The Governor’s Estate (400 GP)
Repair Priority: Low / Medium
- While it is the Prince’s residence, it is also the law court and the tax office. Cities need those.
Expertise: Architect (Required)

The Market Square (200 GP)
Repair Priority: Low / Medium
- The titanic fight between the Drakeblood and whoever killed it did some serious collateral damage to the area near the Market Square. Several market stalls were crushed.

The Watch Station (300 GP)
Repair Priority: Medium / High
- Serves as the town’s jail and the public records office.
- Also serves as the armory for the Watch, which must be resupplied.

Repair Priority: Medium / High
- Delaying this work will lead to significant unrest in Halftown.

Shrine to Shoryu (200 GP)
Repair Priority: Low / Medium
- Shorian forces were instrumental in the defense of the city.
- The Shorian church were vital to keeping the peace in Gambleright during the evacuation.

Shrine to Ahsifa (200-250 GP)
Repair Priority: Low / Medium
- A Church to Ahsifa will need to be build before spring, or there will be unrest.
- Without one, Spirits of Earth will not visit Halftown.

Shrine to Natakra (50 GP)
Repair Priority: Low / Medium
- A Church to Natakra will need to be re-established before winter, or there will be unrest.
- The building is mostly fine. But someone needs to be running the place.

Repair Priority: Low
- Without one, Spirits of Darkness will not visit Halftown.
- The Prince’s religious affiliations have caused an outcry for a public Shrine.

The Traveling King Inn (200 GP)
Repair Priority: High
- This repair is owed to Jinks and her crew by agreed contract.
- Their Unit was integral to the city’s defense, and she was a huge factor in the defense.

- The Courtesan house has submitted a bill for the damage to their roof and tearoom due to the battle.

Repair Priority: Low / High (Non-essential, but Auster hates being made to wait.)
- Auster’s tower took a lot of damage in the battle, and he demands it be restored.
